PRIVATE CHEF-BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI
Monday-Friday Hours
Prominent Family with school aged children with an active, a fast-paced lifestyle need a full-time Chef who is extremely adaptable to meet the family’s frequently changing schedule and requests. The Chef will plan and prepare lunches, dinners, snacks and occasional breakfasts. Base schedule would be Monday-Friday ~10:30am-8pm, but again, flexibility is a key requirement, including limited weekends and travel. Please note the family likes classic healthy, nutritional meals, with a creative flair, not necessarily daily gourmet meals. Favorite recipes, including Mediterranean fare, will be shared for use as well. The Chef is fortunate to be able to utilize fresh produce from the home’s garden and orchard when feasible.
Job entails:
-Creating weekly menus in advance for approval
-Grocery shopping, ensuring the home is well stocked with food and beverages
-Cleaning kitchen and workspaces upon departure each day
-Maintain cleanliness of refrigerators, kitchen equipment and all food storage areas
-Occasional weekend support and travel required
-Providing event support: cooking for smaller parties, working with Estate Manager to coordinate larger parties
$80,000-$110,000 plus terrific benefits offered (health, dental, vision, two weeks paid vacation).
