Job Title: Project Manager I

Location: Des Plaines, IL

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Shift Timings: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage small to large-scale, cross-functional, non-IT projects through the entire project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business sponsors, lab/scientific teams, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Implement and monitor project plans, schedules, and tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
• Oversee team assignments, progress tracking, risk mitigation, and project reporting.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality requirements, including design controls.
• Facilitate team meetings, manage stakeholder communications, and drive accountability.
• Deliver high-quality project outcomes aligned with budget and time constraints.
• Provide expert guidance and support to ensure project success.

Required Qualifications:

• 1–6 years of experience in project management, preferably within diagnostics or medical device industries.
• Strong understanding of design controls and regulated environments (e.g., FDA).
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in scientific, lab, or clinical settings.
• Ability to negotiate, influence, and manage diverse team dynamics.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Experience creating and managing detailed project timelines.
