UX Intern Job Responsibilities Support User Interface Design for Websites and Software: Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for digital platforms. Contribute to Enhancing User Experience: Participate in user research, usability testing, and analytics reviews to improve interfaces. Assist in brainstorming and implementing UX solutions that enhance user satisfaction and engagement. Collaborate Across Teams: Work with marketing, UI/development teams, and senior designers to align design work with business and branding objectives. Attend cross-departmental meetings to gain insights into strategic UX processes. Learn UX Tools and Trends: Gain hands-on experience with Figma, Squarespace, and other UX tools. Stay informed about the latest UX trends and techniques to integrate into projects. Requirements Education: Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in User Experience Design, Graphic Design, or a related field. Skills & Experience: Basic proficiency in design tools like Figma. Familiarity with web development concepts (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge is a plus). Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Enthusiasm for learning about user-centered design processes and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG). Ability to collaborate effectively with team members. A portfolio or samples of design work (academic projects, personal projects, or past internships) is preferred but not required.
